Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Filling Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex equipment, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain high-speed and high-technology processing, filling, and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment issues
- Collaborate with Engineering Technicians and Production Engineers for complex troubleshooting
- Manage equipment start-up, changeover, and shutdown processes
- Perform end-of-run cleaning and equipment maintenance
- Monitor and record production KPIs, present results in Tier Meetings
- Manage equipment supplies and coordinate orders as needed
- Execute quality processes and documentation
- Train new employees on equipment operation
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience with high-speed/high-technology processing equipment (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards
- Effective communication skills for training and facilitation
- Familiarity with inventory management processes
