We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Warehouse Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading freight, stacking and storing merchandise, and operating equipment in compliance with OSHA standards. You will also be required to maintain a clean and orderly workspace, meet production standards, and perform additional duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment in compliance with OSHA standards, promoting a safe work environment. Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment. Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to production standards. Check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and perform additional duties as directed by management. Work independently, attending meetings and adhering to attendance policies. Physical demands include frequently driving a forklift, sitting, hearing, talking, using close vision, and typing and manipulating controls.
Requirements
We require a high school diploma or equivalent, three months of related work experience, and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, attend meetings, and adhere to attendance policies. Ability to physically perform the essential functions of the job is essential.
