Service Technician Job Description
The role of a service technician involves working with customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial food equipment. This includes cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration units.
- You will work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites, typically leaving from home each morning.
- Meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Electrically/mechanically troubleshoot and diagnose issues with commercial food equipment.
- Repair and maintain a variety of equipment types, including cooking, food preparation, and ware washing units.
- Work with customers to identify and resolve equipment problems.
Requirements:
- An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience.
- A valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily.
- The ability to work Overtime and On-Call as required.
- Must be able to attend industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters.
