About the Role
The Senior Director of Behavioral Services is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a school-wide behavior services program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in special education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a school-wide behavior services program, standardizing best practices in special education and ABA across all locations.
- Ensure adherence to Department of Education regulations, PA school code, BACB guidelines, and company policies, including confidentiality and safety standards.
- Create and implement training programs for behavioral support staff, provide real-time coaching, and facilitate BACB ACE trainings to maintain provider status.
- SUPPORT THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS IN INITIATIVES, SCHOOL EXPANSION, RISK IDENTIFICATION, AND TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENTS TO DRIVE ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH.
- Directly support students as needed, model effective interventions, and provide crisis management assistance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field;
- At least 10 years of experience implementing ABA procedures, preferably in a special education setting;
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience overseeing behavioral services or related programs.
