Job Overview

Duties

• Assist the kitchen staff by delivering prepared dishes swiftly and accurately to guests’ tables, ensuring presentation quality and temperature are maintained.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently by bussing dishes, glasses, and utensils while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, or equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
• Support food safety standards by properly handling food items during delivery and ensuring proper storage when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate orders, special requests, or adjustments for guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas through regular cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and sanitizing workspaces.
• Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper manual handling techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing is a plus.
• Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or banquet service enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for guest services is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
