Club Manager — Beaverton Sports Club Beaverton Sports Club is the newest location from Woodinville Sports Club, one of the Pacific Northwest's fastest-growing racquet sports clubs. BSC opens in September 2026 with 5 courts, a staffed front desk, and Tier 1 Academy — WSC's player development program and the club's main growth engine. The full WSC back-office team is behind the site: programming, marketing, pricing, finance, HR, and facilities are all handled centrally, so the Club Manager stays focused on members and growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can open a new club, build its team, and grow its membership — you run the club, not the paperwork. KEY INFO Employment Type: Full-time, salaried, exempt Schedule: On the floor daily; evenings and weekends as club needs require Location: On-site — Beaverton Sports Club, Beaverton, OR Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 base salary performance bonus tied to net membership growth and program enrollment/fill Start Date: ASAP — pre-opening (club opens September 2026) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Member Experience & Daily Readiness - Own the member's day end to end — service standard, in-the-moment recovery, and the on-site judgment calls that shape how the club feels - Hold open/close standards: courts and amenities presentable every day, without exception - Act as first responder on facility and safety issues; coordinate local vendors Growth — Sales & Retention This mandate is the core of the role. Central marketing generates demand; the Club Manager closes it and keeps it — with Tier 1 Academy as the club's main driver of growth and retention. - Drive tours, trials, and conversion of leads into members - Fill the Tier 1 Academy pipeline — intro and trial experiences converted into recurring academy enrollment - Own retention outreach and early-tenure member engagement - Build the club's presence in the Beaverton community - Deliver the membership ramp and program fill against plan, tracked weekly Facility Delivery (Through Opening) - Serve as on-site owner's representative through buildout and punch list — contractor access, daily progress and quality checks, site safety - Escalate construction issues promptly and shield the member experience wherever work continues after doors open Team & Site Accountability - Hire (with HR support), schedule, and develop the front desk team; set the floor culture and be the visible leader members associate with the club - Deliver the site budget and operate to the standard set by the central WSC team - Perform additional duties as assigned to support club operations and programming WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST TWO QUARTERS) - Buildout lands: punch list closed, club opens on time and on standard — and stays there without hand-holding - Membership ramp hits plan — tour conversion and early retention tracked weekly - Front desk team hired, trained, and stable; BSC members can name who runs their club - Clean rhythm with the center: reporting flows through the system; escalations are rare and right QUALIFICATIONS Required - 3 years leading a customer-facing operation (club, fitness, hospitality, or retail) with direct staff supervision - Proven sales or membership-growth track record — comfortable owning a conversion and retention number - Thrives in a hands-on, build-it environment; steady through construction and opening-phase ambiguity - Available evenings and weekends; able to work on your feet in an active facility and lift up to 40 lbs Preferred - Racquet sports or club industry experience - Experience opening a new site or location - Familiarity with CourtReserve or similar club management software Beaverton Sports Club is an equal opportunity employer.
