What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Parts Specialist position at Beaver Machine, Inc.?
Job Description
The purpose of our parts counter staff is to serve customers and our technicians. Parts personnel are also asked to charge out merchandise, distribute special order parts, receive parts, maintain shelf stock, maintain cleanliness of parts area, and process inbound and outbound freight. The parts job duties include, but are not limited to:
Job Duties
- Properly identifying items needed by customers or our service technicians by using online parts catalogs
- Making suggestions for additional needed or related parts
- Locating and obtaining merchandise
- Making certain our technician and customer receives proper parts on time
- Properly tracking lost sales
- Finding current prices for parts by part number
- Completing required documents before disbursing parts
- Entering all necessary information in inventory control system records
- Recording and entering special orders
- Processing returns
- Noting discrepancies between inventory records and shelf quantities
- Maintaining display areas
- Performing housekeeping duties as needed
Qualifications and skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
