About the Role
The Child Watch Staff member plays a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 3 months to 12 years old. As a representative of the Beaver County YMCA, you will be expected to uphold the organization's policies and philosophy while providing exceptional care to every child.
- Provide safe and loving care for every child that receives our care
- Maintain professional conduct and a neat appearance consistent with the Dress Policy
- Care for all equipment and supplies assigned to the Child Watch area
Policies and Procedures
We have a set of strict policies and procedures in place to ensure the well-being and safety of our children. These include:
- Upholding the policies and philosophy of the Beaver County YMCA
- Providing a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children
- Cleaning the site daily at the end of each shift (disinfecting toys and getting rid of any dangerous objects)
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Pass a criminal background check
- Meet the requirements outlined in our Dress Policy
