Beaver Country Day School is an independent day school serving 460 students in grades 6-12, and located in Chestnut Hill, just outside of Boston. Founded in 1920 and propelled by our progressive roots, our goal is to expand the nature of school. Key Functions and Responsibilities: The Assistant Director will play a role in each phase of the admissions process and will have the organizational and leadership skills to help manage the day-to-day operations of the office in conjunction with the Admission Coordinator. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who embraces and serves as a compelling ambassador for Beaver’s mission.
The Assistant Director of Admission will join an energetic, busy, and collaborative admission team that actively works to have Beaver known beyond the typical independent school market.
Qualifications:
- Has strong communication skills
- Successfully engages and builds strong, authentic partnerships with students and families from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
- Is highly organized, flexible, and adept at multi-tasking with ease and good humor
- Has demonstrated success in establishing and managing admissions office systems that will support a busy, collaborative admissions team
- Will enthusiastically integrate as a member of the Beaver community and serve as an energetic external ambassador
- Is strategic and creative
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of independent schools, their unique culture, and opportunities and challenges

Salary Range:
