Position Overview
We are looking for a Salon Coordinator / Front Desk Coordinator who is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and strong in communication. This position plays an important role in keeping the salon running smoothly by managing the front desk, supporting the schedule flow, helping coordinate team communication, and ensuring clients receive excellent service from check-in to check-out.
The ideal candidate understands the pace of a salon environment, can multitask well, stays calm under pressure, and knows how to support both the client experience and salon operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily salon scheduling and appointment flow
- Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phone calls, text messages, and booking inquiries professionally
- Coordinate appointments carefully to help services run on time and smoothly
- Confirm appointments, communicate updates, and help reduce scheduling errors
- Support service providers by monitoring the daily schedule and adjusting when needed
- Assist with client check-in and check-out
- Help recommend add-on services, retail products, or service upgrades when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Communicate clearly with salon team members regarding schedule changes, client needs, and daily priorities
- Help support salon operations, teamwork, and overall guest experience
- Assist with light administrative tasks and daily salon coordination as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a salon setting required
- 1 years of salon, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
- Cosmetology license is preferred but not required
- Strong scheduling and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Comfortable working with a team and supporting multiple departments within the salon
- Basic computer and booking system knowledge preferred
