We are a Houston-based beauty company operating a portfolio of established and growing brands, including Scruples (professional haircare), blowpro (styling tools & products), Pet Silk (pet grooming), and Bahira Lashes.
Our products are distributed across professional salons, retail, and e-commerce channels. We are actively investing in building a stronger, more modern digital and social presence across all brands.

The Role
We are seeking a creative, proactive Social Media Manager to lead content and growth across our portfolio of brands.
This is not a posting-only role. You will own social media end-to-end — from idea to execution to performance — and bring fresh, strategic thinking to help scale our brands across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple brands
- Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns and product launches
- Stay ahead of trends and proactively bring new ideas
Content Creation
- Shoot and edit short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, etc.)
- Create engaging in-office and behind-the-scenes content
- Develop original content concepts, not just execute assigned tasks
Platform Management
- Tailor content by platform:
- TikTok: trend-driven short-form video
- Instagram: lifestyle, educational, and brand storytelling
- Facebook: educational and product-focused content
- Ensure each brand maintains a distinct voice and audience alignment
Multi-Brand Management
- Manage social media across a portfolio of brands with different audiences and positioning
- Prioritize time and content based on business goals
- Maintain consistency across core brands while supporting smaller brands strategically
Engagement & Community
- Oversee comments, DMs, and interactions across platforms
- Guide tone of voice and response strategy
- Support influencer engagement and community growth efforts
TikTok Live Oversight (blowpro)
- Oversee and optimize two weekly TikTok Lives
- Collaborate with hosts and internal teams to improve performance and engagement
- Continuously test and implement ideas to increase conversions and viewership
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track weekly performance across all brands (views, reach, engagement, growth)
- Provide clear reporting and actionable insights
- Identify and scale high-performing content
Ownership & Execution
- Own the full content lifecycle: ideation, creation, posting, and optimization
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence
- Execute quickly on trends and time-sensitive opportunities
Leadership & Growth
- Take ownership of social media across all brands
- Bring ideas to improve and scale social performance
- Help build and structure a growing social media function over time
Requirements
- 2 years of social media or content experience
- Strong experience with TikTok and Instagram
- Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform behavior
Portfolio required (applications without examples will not be considered)
Preferred (Bonus)
- Beauty, haircare, or lifestyle industry experience
- Experience with TikTok Live or TikTok Shop
- Experience working in an in-house brand environment
Compensation
$19–$24/hour, based on experience
