Therapist (LPC/MSW)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Therapist (LPC/MSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Deliver individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining clinical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care using EMR/EHR systems in compliance with clinical ethical guidelines.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings such as outpatient clinics or hospitals.
• Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management strategies.
• Prior experience conducting mental health assessments utilizing ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes.
• Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering services remotely while adhering to HIPAA standards.
• Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Strong understanding of crisis intervention protocols and managing emergency situations effectively.
• Experience working within clinical documentation standards for medical records and supporting research initiatives related to behavioral health or mental health outcomes.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
