Job Description
Experience:
Must have at least one (1) or more years of experience in a Full-Service, with a combination of previous Food & Beverage experience.
This is a seasonal part-time position requiring work on weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions
- Set up, clean and prepare bar area for the start of business.
- Stock garnishes, ice, mixers and glassware, replenishing as necessary.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks, replenishing snacks, while clearing tableware for bar patrons.
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support the bartender for drink preparation.
- Clear and reset tables in the bar area as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage area.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory as directed by the Bartender or Bar Manager.
- Practice cleanliness and safety in all bar areas, liquor and wine storage areas.
- Transport all dirty tableware from bar area to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
- Participate in daily staff meetings and department training meetings.
- Assist team members as needed to promote a teamwork environment.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours’ length of time
- Ability to walk and/or stand approximately 90% of shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.
- Requires a working knowledge of Food & Beverage service.
- Familiarity with industry relevant Point of Sales systems.
- Ability to practice and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. A second language is desirable.
- Ability to work a flexible scheduling, including days, nights and weekends.
- The base wage of $11/hr plus tips is calculated upon historical averages and seasonality with total compensation typically ranging between $16-$18/hr
- Work will primarily take place in the Restaurant, Front and Back of house areas, and Food & Beverage service areas.
- Interior and Exterior of the Restaurant, exposure to sun, heat, cold and changing weather conditions.
Salary : $16 - $18
