Position Summary
The Courier is responsible for transporting parcels to all of Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services (BJHCHS) locations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for transporting various parcel types including pharmaceuticals, medical instruments and supplies, mail, documents, etc
- Responsible for maintaining a valid driver’s license, declaration pages of insurance, and vehicle registration at all times
- Responsible for timely pick-up and delivery of all parcels (In accordance with time schedules)
- Responsible for maintaining the proper chain of custody
- Responsible for reporting any issues or problems while working on their assigned routes/orders to dispatch and/or their supervisor immediately
- Safely Operate BJHCHS vehicle and abide by all traffic laws
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- High School or GED, required.
- Valid SC drivers’ license
- Previous experience driving, preferred
- A clean driving history is required with no major/minor accidents reported in the past 3 years
