Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance assignments, installations, troubleshooting/diagnostics, repair, safety, and other duties to support the Director of Facilities. Under limited supervision, the Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance tasks.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance assignments, installations, troubleshooting/diagnostics, repair, safety, and other duties to support the Director of Facilities. Under limited supervision, the Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance tasks.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections of premises and equipment
- Handle basic and extensive repairs and maintenance
- Replace light bulbs, ballasts, and troubleshoot
- Inspect heating and cooling systems
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Perform routine maintenance on building (parking lot) interior and exterior, i.e., signage, pressure washing, painting, etc.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Install new equipment and furniture
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
- Oversee contractors providing professional tasks
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- High School or GED, required.
- Previous experience maintenance, required.
