Role Description The Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bowie, MD, responsible for overseeing case managers and support staff who provide services to individuals with complex medical and social needs. This role includes monitoring caseloads, reviewing service plans, and ensuring quality, compliance, and timely documentation across all client services. The Supervisor will coordinate with families, community partners, and internal teams to address client needs, resolve issues, and support continuity of care. Daily responsibilities also include coaching and mentoring staff, conducting performance check-ins, supporting staff training, and assisting with scheduling to maintain adequate coverage. The Supervisor will contribute to process improvements, support agency initiatives, and uphold organizational policies and standards of care.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in staff supervision, leadership, team coordination, and performance feedback.
- Proficiency in client documentation, care planning, and compliance with state and agency guidelines.
- Effective communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills with clients, families, staff, and community partners.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to prioritize multiple cases and responsibilities.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and case management systems for documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services in Maryland is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Bowie, MD, and travel locally within Maryland as needed.
