What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at BearmanCPA PLLC?
BearmanCPA is a specialty practice providing back office accounting services to North Carolina charter schools. We are looking for a controller to manage all aspects of AP, AR, payroll, general ledger accounting and financial reporting for 12 charter schools. The Controller will begin by managing three experienced associates who are a tight-knit team. Each associate provides day-to-day support to four charter schools and interacts with each school’s business office manager on a daily basis.
BearmanCPA uses RAMP credit cards and Bill.com for payment processing and various vendors for payroll processing . Highly motivated candidates should include a cover letter discussing past successes in using technology to innovate processes while maintaining internal controls. The letter should also briefly discuss the candidate's intrinsic motivation, management philosophy, experience and ability to contribute to growth of the firm. CPA preferred but not required.
