Job Summary
The job of "ELL/Bilingual Instructional Aide" is for the purpose/s of assisting in
the supervision and instruction of bilingual students and serving as a resource to other school personnel
requiring assistance with non-English speaking persons.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires that you be able to read, write and interpret Spanish.
Experience Required: Prefer one-year prior job-related experience paid or volunteer with school-age children.
Education Required: Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment of knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics.

Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment:
-Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI
-Proof of Tuberculosis clearance
-Social Security Card for payroll purposes
-Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Employment with Bear Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Governing Board approval.
