Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations at all times
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and excellent food service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts to uphold hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, preferably in high volume settings. But willing to train those who want to learn.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and food preparation techniques
- Experience with food handling procedures is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in food service
