Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately
- Support food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils with care and following proper sanitation procedures
- Perform light cleaning duties in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down tables, and restocking supplies
- Help with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies using safe lifting practices
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow
- Provide friendly in-person customer service, answering guest questions and assisting with special requests when needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
- Familiarity with food handling, food running, and serving techniques enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic culinary or kitchen experience supports efficient task execution
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for delivering exceptional guest service
