JOB ANNOUNCEMENTCenters’ ManagerSalary $88,272 to $99,351 annually (approx.)Exempt - Full-Time Position DEFINITION: The Centers’ Manager oversees and assumes responsibility for the operations of center programs, including staff selection, training, and development as well as personnel matters; Is involved in the coordination of program activities, family engagement, curriculum development, and community outreach. Is responsible for monitoring child enrollment, maintaining center staffing, including substitutes, be in ratio when needed, and monitoring sites for quality assurance; Assures center compliance with CA Code of Regulations Title 22 and Title 5. This position requires travel in the Greater Sacramento area to monitor centers.Benefits offered: Sick Leave, PTO, Holiday Pay, Medical (no deductible), Dental, Vision, Life/LTD Insurance, 401(k) Savings Option, Employee Assistance Program.Required Qualifications:Education: Minimum: A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or Human Development, or related field.Preferred Coursework: 6 units in Administration and 2 units in Adult Supervision.Credential:Preferred: A Program Director PermitMinimum: A valid Site Supervisor Child Development Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.Training: Current CPR, First Aid, mandated reporter, and Preventive Health Care Practices. Experience: At least five years of experience in an early childhood education program, with three years as a site supervisor; one year of multi-site supervision/management. Must possess strong leadership skills. Other Requirements:-Fingerprint and criminal clearances required. The Background clearance record is checked by the FBI, DOJ, and the Child Abuse Index.-Must have a clean motor vehicle record, a valid CA. Driver's License, Registered and Insured Vehicle. -Pre-employment physical, TB clearance, and current measles and pertussis vaccines required. -Must be punctual and reliable.
