Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming café atmosphere
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and serving stations
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Prior barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
