Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Electrical Apprentice at Beall Power Solutions. Apprentices work directly under licensed electricians to learn the trade and help perform a variety of electrical tasks, including rough-in, trim-out, troubleshooting, service work, and installation of both residential and commercial systems.
Projects may include:
- Home electrical upgrades and remodel work
- Commercial wiring, conduit runs, and equipment installs
- Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Backup generators and transfer switches
- Commercial UPS systems and power distribution
- EV chargers and specialty equipment installations
Work is primarily in the OKC/Edmond area, but some travel may be required. Overtime and per diem may be available depending on jobsite needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeymen and licensed electricians with daily tasks
- Pull wire, bend/run conduit, mount equipment, and perform basic electrical installations
- Help troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and follow all safety protocols
- Learn to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and correctly
- Load/unload materials and prepare jobsites for work
- Follow instructions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Represent BPS professionally with customers and coworkers
Qualifications
- Strong integrity, work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to follow directions
- Interest in becoming a licensed electrician and growing within the trade
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on ladders, lifts, and roofs
- Basic knowledge of electrical concepts is a plus but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- OSHA certification or electrical schooling is a plus
- Any experience with construction, electrical, solar, or mechanical work is beneficial
