Company Description
Beacon Services of Connecticut provides home-based pediatric services for families with infants, toddlers from birth to three years of age. Our interdisciplinary teams collaborate to support families, offering evidence-based interventions at a critical time in a child's development.
Job Description
Our Occupational Therapists deliver intervention to families where they live by supporting the evaluation of young children's current abilities using developmental and motor assessments. Clinicians interpret evaluation results, work as part of a team to develop individualized plans and use evidence-based intervention to facilitate children’s participation within the home and community. Clinicians also support the transition from community to school services.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure
- Some pediatric experience helpful but not required

- Ability to work efficiently, systematically, and with good attention to detail
- Teamwork mindset to collaborate with others to meet family needs
- Willingness to learn and grow on the job

Working Conditions
- Working in family homes and community settings. The position will require some travel between locations, within a limited region
Work Hours
- Various session times during the workday
- 40 hours per week, generally between 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
