Leasing Professional

This position is available now. Office hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 AM to 6 PM – Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. Schedule will be adjusted for resident events . Primary work location will be The Legacy Senior Residences located at 2125 Windsor Blvd Lockhart, TX 78644.

The starting rate of pay is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour dependent on experience. This is a Full-time position. Living on site is not required for this position. Qualified candidates will have a current driver’s license, own reliable transportation, an ability to pass a background and drug screening.

This position offers long-term employment opportunities, perfect for someone who enjoys working independently and possessing excellent communication skills.

Leasing Professional must have flexibility to work weekends and evenings to accommodate appointments, satisfy occupancy goals and host resident activities.

Training is provided for Tax Credit Compliance, Fair Housing, and software applications used in the workplace.

LEASING PROFESSISONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The principal functions of the Leasing Professional include:

A. Marketing of Space Advertise effectively. Approve/Reject rental applications on questionable residents. Develop resident goodwill. & Supervise lease renewals.

B. Collection of Rents Enforce Company collection policy. Follow up with Regional Manager on delinquencies throughout month. Attorney and Court representation, if necessary.

C. Physical Care of the Property Inspection of halls, laundry, storage areas, grounds, and building exterior for cleanliness or maintenance problems. Inspection of vacant units for needed repair or reasons for non-rental. Inspection of occupied units for preventative maintenance.

D. Responding to Resident's Needs Maintaining resident’s goodwill and operating property economically. Allowing residents their peaceful enjoyment of premises.

E. Purchasing of equipment, supplies, and services. Supervising the prudent expenditure of money essential to the operation and obtaining best bid and supervising quality control on contract work.

F. Maintain goodwill with employees, residents and owners with adequate communication and record keeping.
