Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with a focus on Fixed Assets to join Beacon Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, foundational Excel skills, and 2 years of experience in accounting and/or fixed assets. This role involves transitioning fixed assets from off-book to on-book, identifying assets, and maintaining accurate financial records using Excel and proprietary software.
Key Responsibilities:
Transition fixed assets that are currently off the books onto the books.
Research and identify fixed assets for accurate classification and recording.
Perform detailed data entry of fixed asset information into Excel.
Utilize software to support fixed asset tracking and accounting (training provided if necessary).
Maintain accurate and timely records of all fixed asset transactions.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure completeness of asset data.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in fixed assets and/or general accounting.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
