Payroll & HR Specialist - Kennebunk, ME

Our client, a growing hospitality organization, is seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to support payroll processing, employee administration, and HR operations across multiple locations. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting payroll activities, assisting with benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.


Responsibilities

• Process payroll and support related reporting and recordkeeping activities.
• Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding, offboarding, and other HR administrative functions.
• Support benefits administration, enrollments, updates, and reconciliations.
• Assist with employee documentation, compliance activities, and internal audits.
• Respond to payroll and HR-related inquiries from employees and management.
• Support reporting, process improvements, and special projects as needed.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of key initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of payroll experience required.
• Experience supporting both payroll and human resources functions.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel preferred.
