Our client, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve housing stability and self-sufficiency, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for a fully onsite opportunity in Brockton, MA. This position offers $23/hour, flexible Monday through Friday hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, free parking, and an expected duration of at least three months with potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and coordinate participant communications
- Draft notices and correspondence
- Meet with program participants and discuss program requirements
- Gather and verify income and asset documentation
- Update databases and process annual certifications
- Maintain accurate and compliant program files
- Track deadlines and follow up with participants regarding required documentation
Qualifications
- Administrative or office support experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and compliance requirements
- Comfortable having direct conversations about deadlines and program obligations
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with file management, compliance tracking, or rent collections preferred
- Housing or nonprofit experience is a plus
- Ability to occasionally work from the Braintree office if needed
