What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation paralegal position at Beacon Hill?
Position Overview
We are seeking detail oriented, motivated entry level/ experianced paralegal to join our growing mass tort team. This role is ideal for candidates pursuing a long-term career in the legal field who want hands on experience in high impact, large scale litigation.
Client & Case Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the litigation process
- Assist with onboarding and retaining prospective clients
- Manage and advance a high volume of cases through various stages of litigation
- Request, review, and organize medical records and other supporting documentation
- Continuously gather and update case materials as litigation requirements evolve
- Prepare and submit documentation for settlement consideration
- Maintain accurate, organized case files in Litify (Salesforce-based platform)
- Ensure consistent data entry and standardized coding practices
- Support reporting efforts by keeping case information clean and up to date
- Assist with general office tasks including scanning, mail distribution, and reception overflow coverage
- Support team operations as needed in a fast-paced environment
Plaintiff-side law firm dedicated to advocating for individuals harmed by corporate misconduct, 2 roles available one Pre-Lit and one from Inception to close
Skills & Experience
Core Skills
Attention to Detail: Ability to manage and review large volumes of sensitive case data with precision
Organization & Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize and track hundreds of active files simultaneously
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; able to clearly explain complex information to clients
Client Service Mindset: Empathetic, professional, and responsive when working with individuals in sensitive situations
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities
Problem-Solving: Ability to assess incomplete information and take initiative to move cases forward
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data management
Experience with CRM or case management systems (Litify/Salesforce a plus)
Strong data entry accuracy and database maintenance skills
Familiarity with document management and digital filing systems
