Our client, a media and advertising organization, is seeking an HR Director to join its team in New York City. This highly visible leadership role will oversee day-to-day human resources operations across employee relations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration. The HR Director will partner closely with senior leadership to drive key people initiatives, including the implementation of a new performance management platform and talent assessment processes. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on HR generalist experience, a proven track record recruiting sales talent, and a collaborative, confident approach to supporting employees and leaders at all levels. - Bachelor's degree, required.
- 6 years of progressive Human Resources experience, required.
- Strong background in employee relations, HR operations, and full-cycle recruiting, required.
- Experience managing benefits administration, leave programs, and HR compliance, required.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems, including ADP and Greenhouse, preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, required.
- Experience partnering with leadership on performance management and talent development initiatives, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines, required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization, required.
- Ability to work onsite in Manhattan four days per week.
The salary for this role is $120K-$135K.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
