Finance Attorney (Associate)

A leading Midwest mid-size firm is seeking a junior associate to join their Corporate Group and focus on building a sophisticated debt finance practice. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced attorneys and play a key role in advising businesses of all sizes on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex financing arrangements.

The ideal candidate will have 1 years experience drafting and reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and other essential transaction materials. Responsibilities include conducting due diligence, assisting with transaction closings, and collaborating with attorneys across corporate, real estate, and tax practices to ensure seamless deal execution. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in client communications and develop a thorough understanding of their business and financing objectives, providing tailored support across a range of transactions-including commercial lending, real estate financing, private placements, and acquisition financings.
