Data Center Power Systems Commissioning Engineer

Location: Home base will be out of Wilmington, DE
Duration: Contract to hire
Salary: 110-159K
Travel: This role will have local travel 1 week and the next week will require travel to company site in another location in US. Travel, hotels and meals will be paid.

We are seeking a Senior Data Center Power Systems Commissioning Engineer to support the construction, installation, testing, startup, and turnover of mission-critical data center infrastructure projects. This role will serve as a key technical resource throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring complex electrical power systems are installed and commissioned in accordance with engineering standards, quality requirements, operational objectives, and industry best practices.

• Minimum 5 years of experience constructing, installing, testing, and commissioning complex power systems.
• Experience supporting large-scale data center, utility, infrastructure, mission-critical, industrial, or energy projects.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, consulting engineers, and cross-functional project teams.
• Knowledge of commissioning processes, startup procedures, construction quality programs, and turnover requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering or construction management software platforms.
