Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Beacon Hill Legal is working with a highly regarded litigation boutique in Michigan in its search for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to be on the front lines of sophisticated commercial litigation and gain meaningful hands-on experience in the courtroom, in depositions, in motion practice, and through trial preparation.

This is not a role limited to document review or behind-the-scenes support. The firm staffs matters with lean teams, giving associates the opportunity to take on substantive responsibility, work directly with experienced trial lawyers, and develop into well-rounded litigators.

The firm is known for handling high-stakes commercial disputes and providing associates with direct exposure to case strategy, client service, written advocacy, depositions, hearings, and trial-related work. Associates in this group are expected to actively litigate, think strategically, and contribute meaningfully to matters from early case assessment through resolution.

• 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in a law firm setting
• Strong commercial litigation background, including experience with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and case strategy
• Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Interest in taking ownership of matters and gaining meaningful courtroom and trial experience
• Admission to the Michigan Bar, or eligibility and willingness to become admitted in Michigan
  
  

• Work with a team of true commercial litigators on sophisticated matters
