Senior Accountant

Seeking a Senior Accountant who can have a hands-on role with a path toward a Controller-level position as the company continues to grow. This person will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions while helping improve financial reporting and job cost visibility across projects. Work closely with leadership, project managers, and office staff to keep things accurate, organized, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the month-end close process and preparing financial statements
• Managing job costing, WIP reporting, and project financial performance
• Partnering with Project Managers to track budgets, costs, and profitability
• Overseeing AP, AR, collections, and vendor payments
• Monitoring cash flow and supporting forecasting activities
• Providing financial analysis and reporting to leadership
• Assisting with budgeting, audits, and process improvement initiatives
• Strengthening internal controls and driving accounting efficiencies

Must-Have Skills:

• 5-8 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• WIP reporting
• Construction or job-cost accounting experience strongly preferred

Software / ERP:

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
