Accounting Manager - Hybrid / Cambridge, MA

Our client, a multi-site professional services organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations across several business locations. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting close and reporting processes, and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial operations and compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Manage general accounting activities for assigned entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Support month-end close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Review and analyze financial statements and account activity to maintain data integrity
  • Track and report on routine financial metrics and operational performance indicators
  • Assist with audit preparation and compliance-related activities
  • Partner with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews
  • Review vendor payments, expense activity, and credit card transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-entity accounting environments
  • NetSuite experience preferred; QuickBooks a plus
  • Real estate or multi-site industry experience is a plus
