PAYROLL PROCESSORS - BUSY TEAM, IMMEDIATE NEED

We're partnering with a Georgetown-based company in the commercial energy solutions space to bring on a Senior Payroll Coordinator. This role supports day-to-day, in-house payroll while the core team focuses on an upcoming Viewpoint to UKG implementation. They're looking for someone who can step in, stay organized, and keep payroll moving with minimal hand-holding.
Role details and logistics
- Start ASAP; expected to run through the end of September with a strong possibility of extension
- Georgetown location
- In office to start for training, then hybrid (three days per week onsite)
- Parking available and near public transit
- Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Support end-to-end, in-house payroll processing
- Review and audit timecards and payroll batches for accuracy
- Support weekly payroll cycles for multiple entities
- Handle multi-state payroll and large employee populations
- Maintain deductions, garnishments, union items, and payroll reporting
- Assist with payroll inquiries and general processing support
What they're looking for
- 3 years of payroll experience with true in-house processing
- Experience supporting 500 employees
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Union, construction industry, or UKG experience is a plus, not required
