Our client, a respected community health organization, is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to support a large portfolio of federally funded healthcare programs. This is an immediate need due to a recent departure and offers the opportunity to be considered for permanent employment.
What You'll Do
- Manage post-award administration for a portfolio of federal, state, county, and foundation grants
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, forecasting, burn rates, and compliance requirements
- Prepare financial and narrative reports for grantors
- Partner with program leaders and clinic teams to gather reporting data and ensure timely deliverables
- Maintain grant records, reporting calendars, and funding documentation
- Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements
- Work closely with Accounting to reconcile grant activity and monitor spending
- Mentor and support other Grant Managers as needed
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of grants management experience
- Healthcare industry experience required
- Strong post-award grants administration and compliance background
- Experience with federal grants preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with leaders across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Management or mentorship experience
- Sage Intacct experience
- Experience with federal grant reporting portals
