Senior Accountant (Temp)

Beacon Hill is partnering with a real estate company who is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant for a project-based engagement supporting accounting remediation efforts across a multi-entity portfolio. This individual will play a key role in reviewing historical financial activity, strengthening reporting accuracy, and assisting with audit readiness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of financial records, account activity, and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
• Investigate variances, identify historical accounting issues, and implement corrections as needed
• Assist with audit preparation activities, documentation review, and process support
• Support close activities including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
• Evaluate property and entity-level reporting to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial data
• Work closely with accounting and operational teams to improve processes and reporting reliability
• Organize supporting documentation and maintain clean financial records for ongoing reporting needs

Qualifications

• Experience within real estate, property management, hospitality, or other multi-entity environments
• Strong understanding of account reconciliations, financial review, and remediation projects
• Exposure to audit support and financial process improvement initiatives
• Ability to operate independently and adapt quickly in an interim or project-based setting
• Strong analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
