Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Consult with new and established patients. Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Care Management: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for neurosurgical patients, managing preoperative and postoperative care in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Manage patients independently through non-operative treatments and prepare patients for surgical consults when needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with neurosurgeons, critical care teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary patient care.
