We are looking for a motivated Stormwater Inspector / Scientist to join our Centennial team and play a key role in expanding our stormwater services.

Position Overview
This is a primarily field-based position focused on stormwater inspections and regulatory compliance on active construction sites.
You will work directly with superintendents, project managers, and contractors to help ensure projects remain compliant with state and local stormwater regulations.
This position also offers “seller/doer” potential, meaning individuals who build strong client relationships and identify opportunities may grow into expanded responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stormwater inspections at construction sites to ensure compliance with state and local regulations
- Document site conditions and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports
- Perform water sampling, including grab samples and basic field analysis
- Communicate with contractors, superintendents, project managers, and clients
- Manage and coordinate your own inspection schedule
- Maintain digital inspection records and compliance documentation
- Represent Beacon Environmental professionally in the field and with clients
Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in construction, environmental consulting, erosion control, oil & gas, or stormwater compliance preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with field documentation
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and terrain
- Confident working on active construction sites and interacting with contractors
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check, DMV check, and drug/alcohol screening
Industry contacts or stormwater compliance experience are a plus but not required.
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
