Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP to align with customer demands and inventory levels.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Monitor production progress daily, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions swiftly to keep operations on track.
- Utilize supply chain management tools and plant management techniques to analyze data, forecast demand, and optimize capacity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies across production lines.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards by coordinating inspections and addressing any deviations promptly.
- Support assembly processes by providing detailed work plans, resource allocation, and scheduling adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), supply chain analytics, and operations management principles.
- Hands-on mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated ability to manage plant operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence positive change.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Pay: $90,000.00 per year
