Verizon is expanding its customer-facing team and hiring an Entry-Level Verizon Customer Service Representative to support customer engagement, service enrollment, and account assistance. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for motivated candidates who enjoy working with people, explaining products and services, and helping customers find solutions that fit their needs. No extensive telecommunications background is required—we provide hands-on training and coaching to help you build confidence with Verizon products, customer communication, and service support.
As a Verizon Customer Service Representative, you’ll interact directly with customers, answer questions, explain Verizon services, assist with account needs, and help customers understand available options. You’ll gain practical experience in Verizon sales, customer service, communication, and enrollment while working in a professional team environment.
What You’ll Do
- Represent Verizon professionally while engaging with customers and answering questions about wireless, Fios, and other Verizon products and services.
- Learn Verizon products and services so you can clearly explain features, options, pricing, and enrollment information.
- Assist customers with account questions, service requests, upgrades, and general support needs.
- Identify customer needs and recommend relevant Verizon products or services based on the conversation.
- Support Verizon sales and enrollment by presenting service options and helping interested customers complete the enrollment process.
- Communicate with customers face-to-face and provide a positive, professional experience from initial interaction through follow-up.
- Keep customer information and service details accurate while maintaining organized records and completing assigned tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, telecommunications, or call center experience is a plus, but we’re open to entry-level candidates.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to comfortably speak with customers in person.
- Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and willingness to learn Verizon products and services.
- High school diploma or GED and availability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
