Position Summary
Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to lead the operational, financial, and administrative functions of a busy physician group practice. In this highly visible leadership role, you will drive performance, support the development of clinical and operational teams, and oversee day-to-day practice operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of healthcare management experience in a physician group practice setting
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct and oversee the daily operations of the practice
- Manage staff scheduling and coordinate internal meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain compliance
- Address operational issues involving physicians, employees, and patients in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain an effective scheduling process to maximize provider productivity and patient access
Financial Oversight
- Work closely with the billing team to identify issues, resolve errors, and improve processes
- Review billing, accounts receivable, and administrative reports to monitor performance
- Track revenue, expenses, and profitability, identifying opportunities for growth and cost containment
- Assist with budget planning for clinic locations
- Support revenue growth initiatives through service expansion and increased patient volume
Workflow and Process Improvement
- Lead the implementation of new processes and ensure successful follow-through
- Provide hands-on guidance, support, and training to clinical and administrative staff
- Identify and implement workflow improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
Team Management and Development
- Assign and coordinate staff responsibilities effectively
- Monitor overhead and overtime in accordance with budget guidelines
- Lead monthly staff meetings and prepare agendas
- Conduct performance reviews and provide meaningful coaching and feedback
- Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training for clinical and administrative staff
- Promote employee engagement, retention, accountability, and professional development
- Ensure staff compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Quality and Compliance
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to strengthen patient care and service outcomes
- Monitor patient satisfaction and clinical performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement corrective action plans when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Foster a culture centered on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
Strategic Growth and Community Engagement
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and practice growth initiatives
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and new business development
- Support market research and competitive analysis efforts
- Maintain relationships with referral partners, payers, community organizations, and other key stakeholders
- Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to strengthen the practice’s community presence and reputation
Technology Oversight
- Manage the implementation and ongoing optimization of EHR, practice management, and telehealth systems
- Stay current on healthcare technology trends and recommend innovative solutions
- Ensure the privacy, security, and confidentiality of patient information through strong systems and operational practices
Professional Representation
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner internally and externally
- Serve as a liaison with community partners, referral sources, and regulatory agencies
Continuing Education Expectations
- Participate in continuing education activities as directed by leadership
- Take personal responsibility for ongoing professional development to enhance job performance and strengthen job-related skills and abilities
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
