NeuroPsych Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our growing outpatient practice in Northern Virginia. We offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment, along with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
Position Overview
We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in psychological and neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents. This role focuses on diagnostic clarification and cognitive/behavioral assessment, with support from an established multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, including:
- ADHD
- Learning disorders
- Autism spectrum disorders
- Anxiety and mood disorders
- Behavioral and emotional concerns
- Provide clear, timely, and clinically useful testing reports
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and therapists
- Participate in a well-established testing program alongside a Director of Services, postdoctoral fellows, and advanced externs
- Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner
- Coordinate care and referrals with community providers as needed
Practice Environment
- Established outpatient group practice with 30 clinicians
- Multidisciplinary care model including:
- Medication management (Psychiatrists, NPs, PAs)
- Psychotherapy (licensed therapists)
- Psychological testing services
- Interventional treatments (TMS, Spravato)
- Strong referral base from local providers and community networks
- Current testing program primarily serves ages 16 and above, with expansion to younger populations
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Licensed (or license-eligible) Clinical Psychologist in Virginia
- Experience conducting psychological testing for children and adolescents preferred
- Must be ADOS certified
- Minimum 1 year experience in:
- Intake evaluations
- Outpatient mental health setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 – $110,000
