Duties
- Assist with the daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using proper cleaning techniques and equipment
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure spotless surfaces throughout the property
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, restocking linens, and maintaining cleaning carts for efficiency
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, window cleaning, and deep cleaning projects to uphold cleanliness standards
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations by adhering to proper sanitation procedures and safety protocols
- Support with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for larger-scale cleaning projects
- Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to cleanliness or maintenance, demonstrating a positive attitude and professional service
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or similar environment
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures for large-scale or deep cleaning tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
