Service Manager
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
JOB OVERVIEW:

The Service Manager leads our team of service technicians to ensure that our equipment and facilities are kept in the pristine condition that we're known for. In this critical role you will oversee new buildouts, remodeling of existing locations and maintaining high operational standards, along with managing your team of technicians.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership and Management: Hire, train, conduct quarterly evaluations, and manage the tasks and time of technicians. Ensure team adherence to company standards.

Operational Oversight: Oversee the scheduling, dispatching, and execution of maintenance tickets and remodeling jobs. Minimize downtime and drive time, ensuring efficient service across all locations.
- Inventory and Financial Management:
- Order and manage spare parts and maintenance supplies. Keep maintenance expenses minimal, verify charges, and maintain an organized inventory system for quick access to necessary parts. Prepare and send invoices.
- Order and manage basic cleaning / office supplies for all locations. Order and manage sunless products for all locations.

Strategic Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, emergency protocols, and a Preventative Maintenance schedule. Document equipment details and provide monthly performance reports.

Facility and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that facilities and maintenance vehicles are maintained to company standards, registered, organized, and not used for personal reasons.

Communication and Coordination: Conduct weekly meetings, communicate with department heads regarding equipment status, and support marketing efforts for signage and display maintenance. Coordinate with outside services as needed.
- Warranty and Vendor Coordination: Handle all warranty claims and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and secure necessary parts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of integrity and the ability to manage large projects.
- Capacity to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and establish productive relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Relevant experience in inventory, dispatching, and managing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma/GED required; higher education preferred.
- 4 years of experience managing maintenance for multiple locations and a service department strongly preferred.
- Previous knowledge or experience in the tanning industry is a bonus.
