Position: Seasonal, Full-Time Service Technician
We're seeking a skilled Service Technician who is passionate about excellent customer service and ready to contribute to our reputable organization.
What We’re Looking For
- Commitment & Professionalism: A dedication to outstanding customer service and a polished professional demeanor.
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Physical Capability: Daily physical labor requirements, including the ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Driving Requirements: A clean driving record, along with a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the DMV. Candidates must also disclose any conditions that could impact safe driving.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on vacation rental properties (e.g., HVAC filter changes, minor plumbing/electrical fixes, appliance troubleshooting).
- Respond promptly to service requests from guests or property managers during stays (including after-hours emergency calls, on a rotating basis).
- Inspect properties for maintenance issues before guest arrivals and after departures, ensuring homes are in top condition.
- Coordinate repairs with vendors or specialists when issues go beyond scope of expertise.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life of property systems and minimize guest disruptions.
- Assemble and install furnishings, fixtures, or equipment as needed in homes.
- Document and report maintenance tasks completed, parts used, and any follow-up needed using property management software.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as winterizing homes, prepping for hurricane season, or opening pools/hot tubs.
- Communicate professionally with office staff, property owners, and guests regarding service issues and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local codes/regulations.
