Job Summary
Beach Janitorial Services is seeking a dependable individual to provide 1X once-weekly commercial cleaning services at two locations, one in Lake City, SC,and one in Johnsonville, SC.
You will be responsible for cleaning BOTH locations each week. The locations are approximately 20 minutes apart.
You may choose between the following service days:
- Friday Evening: Anytime after 6:30 PM
- Saturday: Anytime between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
This position offers flexibility to choose whichever of these two days works best for your schedule.
Compensation
Total compensation is $300 per month, paid via direct deposit in two payments:
- $150 on the 5th
- $150 on the 20th
IMPORTANT: This is part-time 1099 independent contractor work. It is NOT a W-2 or full-time position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean both assigned locations once per week.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms.
- Clean offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces and fixtures.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Restock paper products, soap, and other facility supplies as needed.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow assigned cleaning procedures and safety requirements.
- Maintain consistent cleaning quality and attention to detail.
- Complete assigned services within the designated service window.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent cleaning standards.
- Comfortable using standard janitorial equipment, including commercial vacuums and mops.
- Able to safely use and handle commercial cleaning chemicals.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform other physical cleaning duties throughout the service.
- Reliable transportation is required, as you will travel between the Lake City and Johnsonville locations.
- Must be able to reliably complete both locations every week.
