The Product Designer will create unique Travel and Organizational solutions across Luggage, Travel & Lifestyle Bags and Accessories. Basically, products that make it easier to get you from here to there. An understanding of the current Luggage/Travel Bag market is a must, with ideas to innovate and push our product assortment and functionalities forward in brand-right market relevant ways.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and pinpoint white space in the market and in our product assortment.
- Identify solutions and functionality concepts unique to our Brand.
- Build and pitch Design Concepts to Design leaders.
- Create unique designs for Luggage, Travel & Lifestyle Bags, Accessories and Organizational systems that align with big picture concepts and solutions.
- Work with PD team to ensure designs can execute within a price point.
- Create CADS (in color) for Presentations and Linesheets. Update Linesheets as changes are made throughout the season. Communicate and document design updates/changes as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Product Development and Tech Design to ensure timely handoff and design execution.
- Help to create Product Knowledge docs for designs and functionalities.
- Work cross-functionally as needed to share information and find solutions across company.
- Help to build Brand Standards doc and streamline a branded look.
EXPERIENCE:
- Consistent Research and Knowledge of the Luggage/Travel Bag market.
- Passion for pinpointing and designing travel, organizational and performance solutions.
- Experience in Luggage / Travel or Performance Bags.
- Ability to create color CADS for designs and detail callouts.
- Ability to create Design Docs and handoff to PD team in an effective way.
- Ability to create Tech Packs and Technical Sketches is a major plus.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually
