What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern, PATTERN position at Beach House Group?
PATTERN Beauty is looking for a passionate, organized and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join their fun, hard-working, results-driven, creative and collaborative team! The ideal candidate is both creative and data driven, exhibits excellent problem solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a willingness to adapt and a commitment to getting things done.
This internship will run throughout the summer from June to September.
Hourly rate: $19/hour
Candidates MUST be based in the Los Angeles area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with marketing cross-functional teams (Social, Influencer, Retail, Digital, Product Marketing) to support marketing campaigns and product launches
- Assist in competitive research & product marketing analysis
- Assist in community management across social media platforms to engage both existing and new users
- Support social media team by identifying weekly TikTok trends in real time
- Assist the social media team in self-filmed video content creation for TikTok
- Edit & provide feedback on influencer videos, content visuals & scripts
- Draft eCommerce content, product packaging copy and social captions
- Process shipping orders to support influencer gifting & marketing initiatives
- Maintain and meet deadlines on multiple, concurrent projects
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Proficiency in marketing platforms & tools (Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, InDesign, etc)
- Ability to navigate, understand, and effectively use various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively with team members, partners, and community
- Passion for beauty, lifestyle branding & marketing
- On the pulse with marketing campaigns, trends, & insights
- Detail-oriented with ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Must be a rising junior or senior
- Must be based in Los Angeles
